OS ∆ OOS

TUNNEL | CLOTHING RACK

Traditional meets high-tech: the classic sawhorse embodies a strong, sturdy, and elegant design. OS ∆ OSS has reimagined this timeless concept, creating a collection without physical fasteners or glue. Each component acts as a direct support, exemplifying the principle that form follows function.

Today's materials are increasingly showcasing multiple characteristics within a single composition. Advances in manufacturing processes, particularly OS ∆ OSS's ability to precision-cut round extruded tubes that interlock seamlessly, enhance this evolution. These adaptive methods allow for the application of traditional construction techniques to innovative materials, yielding significant benefits such as reduced weight and improved ease of assembly and finishing.

The aluminum parts are always anodized. Anodizing is an electrochemical process which converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant oxide layer. This aluminum oxide is not applied to the surface like coating or plating but is fully integrated with the underlying aluminum substrate. This means it cannot chip or peel. It has a highly ordered, porous structure which allows for secondary processes such as colouring.

Material: Laser-cut anodized aluminum

Finishes: natural, champagne, rose, dark red, grey & black (Customs colours available)

Dimensions: 80 x 40 x 125 cm

Lead time: 3-4 months

Made in the Netherlands
